ADVANCED PROSTHETIC APPLICATION SHORT COURSE

Sharp FX are one of the leading creature and makeup FX studios in Australia and are one of the few companies currently working in the industry to offer in-house training.
This intensive short course has been created for artists who want to strengthen their prosthetic application skills using the same high-end materials and techniques used in film and television.

Across five full Sundays, students receive hands-on, practical training in applying both silicone and foam latex prosthetics, working directly with professional-grade appliances produced in the Sharp FX workshop. This course is designed to give students the confidence, speed and understanding needed to apply prosthetic makeups to an industry standard.

All prosthetics, materials, equipment and models are supplied, allowing students to focus entirely on building their skills.

This course is well suited to both makeup artists looking to upskill and hobbyists wanting to explore a new and exciting area of special effects.
